What do you like / dislike about leaving comments? How did you feel when you received your first comment? Why do you think commenting is so important in online communities? What might this mean for students who share their writing online?
Social Networking is just a normal part of my everyday life. I keep in contact with friends, family and coworkers via Facebook etc. I give and recieve comments on a daily basis. I think that because this technology is such a big part of our students lives it would be extremely beneficial to use online communities to foster a love of learning. Students are motivated by technology and social interactions what better way to help them learn then to incorporate these things into what we expect them to know/learn.
